## What Inkrune Is

Inkrune is a social storytelling platform with a unique feature: published stories can be automatically converted to manga chapters using an AI pipeline. The platform also has reading, writing, collaboration, and a reader matchmaker ("Soul Match").

## Core Service: Free to Read and Write

- Read: Free for all stories (registered or guest)
- Write: Free tier, 3 Ink Drops on signup
- Guest mode: 1 free anonymous story with limited features

## Ink Drop Economy (In-App Currency)

- Signup bonus: 3 Ink Drops
- Daily login reward: 1 Ink Drop base + bonuses at 7-day (+5), 14-day (+10), 30-day (+25) streaks
- Onboarding tasks: up to 23 Ink Drops total for completing all first-time actions
- Publishing a story: +2 Ink Drops (non-AI, ≥400 words, Story category)

## Manga Lab (the unique feature)

What it does: converts a published story (≥400 words, not AI-generated) into a manga chapter with:
- Panel-by-panel storyboard with shot types
- Consistent character faces across panels (Character Bible)
- Speech bubbles with word-wrapping
- Page composition with named layout recipes (splash, 2-wide, 1-top-2-bot, etc.)
- Cooldown: 1 free conversion every 7 days (testers excluded)

Pipeline:
1. Cinematic Expander (beat-by-beat prose expansion)
2. Manga Script (director blueprint)
3. Storyboard with panel-budget enforcement per scene type
4. Image generation (Imagen 4)
5. Speech-bubble composition
6. Page assembly (sharp-based compositor)

## Reader Matchmaker (Soul Match)

- Free: 5-question preference quiz
- AI analyzes responses → recommends authors based on genre & keyword overlap
- Onboarding reward: 5 Ink Drops for first match

## Tipping (Currently Disabled)

The Tipping feature is currently disabled while Stripe Connect integration is finalized. When enabled:
- Reader sends USD tip to author
- Author receives via Stripe Connect
- 10% platform fee at payout
